Spalding House,
We went to Spalding House, the Honolulu Art Museum's second location. It's in the hills above Honolulu and gorgeous, particularly the grounds.

Foodie delights in Oahu
Roadside shrimp...
Pink guavas, Chico, and egg fruit (I ate it all and it was phenomenal-- pink guava is one of my favorite foods)
And other farmers market delights...
And poke plate, deconstructed (essentially, raw tuna with sauce)
And mango mojo to with spiced rum:
And fresh pineapple... That I ate do much of that the acid burned my tongue!
And delicious ramen bowls...
And more farmers markets!!

Temple
We went to the Byodo-in temple when we were in Oahu. It was tranquil and beautiful. I went here about 15 years ago, but I appreciate the serenity more now, I think. I definitely appreciate the gardens more!!

What we've been up to!
We went to Hawaii!
Needless to say, it was beautiful.
This was the beach by the studio we rented-- Kailua Bay. Gorgeous!! And a direct flight to Oahu from our little town? Blissful.
The water was so warm. It was hard not to swim every time we stuck our ties in. Delightful.
